Settimana che certifica la fine dei sogni per il Liverpool con Klopp che dunque lascerà con la sola EFL Cup come trofeo in questa ultima stagione sulla panchina dei Reds. Arsenal che supera l'ostacolo Spurs nel derby e resta parzialmente avanti.
Vantaggio Villa nella lotta al quarto posto anche se la squadra di Emery sperpera un doppio vantaggio contro il Chelsea che poteve essere decisivo. Lotta per l'Europa League che sembra circoscriversi invece ai soli Manchester United e Newcastle United con Chelsea e West Ham ora attardate.
Brutto finale di stagione per il Brighton, strepitosa stagione del Bournemouth con Iraola che meriterebbe maggiore attenzione da parte dei big club europei.
Sul fondo c'è la salvezza per Everton e Brentford resta una lotta a 3 con Burnley e Forest che peraltro giocheranno contro all'ultima giornata. Clarets con il calendario peggiore anche se la forma è la migliore.
Matematica la retrocessione dello Sheffield United ormai prossimo a stabilire il record di gol subiti della storia della Premier (Blades giunte a quota 97, Swindon che invece nel 1993/94 ne prese 100 ma in 42 gare).
