La Premier League ha ufficialmente aperto un'indagine riguardante il Manchester City per oltre 100 possibili violazioni delle norme interne con particolare riferimento a quelle economico-finanziarie (FPF).
I Citizens rischiano da una penalizzazione all'esclusione dal campionato.

Jesse Marsch non è più il manager del Leeds United.
Il tecnico statunitense è stato esonerato dopo la sconfitta contro il Nottingham Forest che ha lasciato il club appena fuori dalla zona retrocessione.
Marsch anno scorso era riuscito a salvare il club dello Yorkshire ponendo rimedio ai disastri di Bielsa, quest'anno dopo un promettente avvio però gli Whites sono visibilmente calati e ora si cerca il tutto per tutto con il cambio di allenatore.

Discutibile senz'altro la tempistica con il calciomercato appena chiuso e con alcuni giocatori che sono arrivati proprio su indicazione di Marsch, vedasi Wober con cui il tecnico aveva già lavorato al Red Bull Salzburg, senza contare la piccola colonia USA con Adams, Aaronson e ora anche McKennie.
